If you stopped by Williamson Bros Restaurant during February and happened to come on one of the days they were closed, and wondered why, here’s your answer.
The popular restaurant was in the midst of a facelift of the interior to change the look and feel for their patrons. When you come back, you will notice a new atmosphere to compliment their extensive menu, which not only includes their famous barbecue but many other items including steak, seafood, burgers, country style choices and much more. They have one of the most diverse menus in Douglas County, so just about any taste bud can be satisfied. There’s even a kids menu. They are also one of the area’s biggest caterers.
Williamson Bros. BBQ opened in 2003 on Highway 5, but the location was destroyed from a lightning strike. In 2005, they reopened at their current location which is between Cracker barrel and Hooter’s near the entrance to the Wal-Mart shopping center off of Highway 5. By I-20.
