Cinco de Mayo Mexican Grill, a long-standing restaurant in Douglasville offering a mix of traditional Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine, is now under new ownership. Yesenia Barajas, who has worked in the restaurant industry for more than 22 years, recently became the new owner of the establishment located at 7436 Douglas Boulevard.
Yesenia said that building strong relationships with customers has always been important to her, and she believes that consistency is what keeps patrons coming back. โThey know what to expect from us,โ she said.
Cinco de Mayo is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11am-9pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am-10pm, and Sunday from 11am-8pm. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. The phone number is 678.715.7234.
In addition to taking over Cinco de Mayo, Yesenia is also planning to open a new restaurant in the near future. El Azteca Taqueria will be located at Resia Tributary. No opening date has been announced yet.
