A new shop owned by local residents recently opened at 8391 Highway 166 in the Fairplay area of Douglas County. This unique shop is owned by Douglas County residents Linda Easterwood and Sherry Beckham and made up mostly of hand crafted merchandise made by local crafters.
Co-Owner Sherry Beckham stated that “The shop has plans to host events throughout the year including a Craft Fair, Teacher Appreciation Day, Car Shows and Holiday Events.” Beckham went on to add “We are simply local folks working to help local folks. Our future plans also include assisting local schools and churches with fundraisers and using our shop and talents to help with other needs as they arise in the community.”
The public is invited to stop by their shop and visit the shop owners and many of the 80 or more supporting crafters on September 29th from 8am-5pm at their 1st Annual Lady Bug Craft Fair.
