We have a number of ad sizes. It is best to get our media kit, which you can find in the drop down menu of the customer links.
There are two types of ads. Regular display ads go throughout the entire magazine. The smallest ad is a 1/9 page. We also have in-column ads in several places, such as the Yellow Pages, Medical Directory, Church Directory, Restaurant Directory and Real Estate Directory.
We also offer classified ads, which are free if they are 30 words or less, and if they are just for an individual. Help wanted classifieds are also free.
For Chapel Hill News & Views, content should be submitted and ad space should be reserved by the 7th of the preceding month. For example, if it is for the June issue, we would like to have the information by the 7th. If you miss the deadline, you can still give it a shot, and if we can possibly get your ad or content in, we will do it.
For Villa Rica News & Views, the deadline is the 14th of the month.
For West Georgia Digital News & Views, content consists of some of the articles that we post to the website. Sent those in any time.
We offer churches, government agencies and non-profit organizations a substantial discount. If you are in charge of one of those, please ask us for the non-profit rate sheet.
Generally Chapel Hill News & Views gets back from the printer around the 25th of the month. So, the June issue will start being delivered around May 25th. However, since some of those are delivered, if the weather is bad, that can delay the distribution. The Chapel Hill magazines that are mailed would not be delayed in that case. We try to have all of the magazines in the home by the 1st of the month. Once we finish the home delivery, we start working on getting the magazine out to the businesses, and this can take about a week to 10 days.
Villa Rica News & Views are all mailed, with the exception of some that we leave around in businesses for those who live outside of the area to pick up. Villa Rica usually gets to the homes within a day on either side of the 1st.
West Georgia Digital News & Views comes out once a week and goes through email every Thursday afternoon.
We print 45,000 copies of Chapel Hill News & Views every month. About 25,000 of these are delivered to homes. Approximately 6,000 are mailed (to every home in Winston and the South Douglas/Fairplay area). We also deliver about 8,000 to just about every business in Douglas County. And we leave stacks at a number of locations from people to pick up, such as the Mall and doctors offices. There are some areas however that do not get the magazine at home. These would typically be on busy streets that are too dangerous to deliver on, or rural areas where the houses are very far apart. From time to time, we do reassess our areas, so if you don't get one at home let us know where you live and perhaps we can add it later. In the mean-time, if you have any trouble finding one, please contact us and we can let you know a location near you which will have some in stock.
Yes - we love getting photos and other submissions from the community. That's one of the features that really makes the magazine popular. There is no cost to submit any of these. You want to send a high quality JPEG photo, and whatever information normally goes with what you are submitting. For example if it is a Baby Announcement, be sure to include the baby's name, birthday, weight, parent's names, and grandparents names (if you want). Then, just email it to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.

Yes, we accept ads that are submitted by customers. However, if you are not that experienced, we suggest that you have us do it, or at least talk with us about the design. We really are the experts at it, and we want your ad to be successful. If you would like to submit your own ad, you can see the ad specs in the Media Kit.
While we try to accommodate everyone, there are also a number of businesses that have been advertising with us for 10-15 years that stay in the same spot. But, if there is a certain spot you would like the ad to go, let us know and we will do our best.
We do accept submissions from readers, and we appreciate them. The magazine is free, so we have to have a certain balance of advertising (to pay for it) and content (to make it something you want to read). So, we can't guarantee that we can print what you might want to send in, but we would definitely like to see it. Please contact us by using the contact button at the bottom of the page.
No. The ad cost is the total you pay. We don't believe in hidden charges, ad ons, set-up fees or any other costs. We want a long-term relationship with our customers, and so we are very focused on treating our customers well, and with the highest level of integrity.
We list every business that is located in the area served by that magazine. There is no charge to be listed. Please contact us and we can get your business in there. We need the business name, address and phone number.
There are a few restrictions. You must have the rights to use any of the images that are in your ad. All ads must be family friendly and non-controversial. Political ads must not be negative ads. We reserve the right to reject any ad which does not meet the standards of the magazine.
