Kings of the Forest: A Mushroom Hike

Saturday, Jun 27, 2026 10 AM to 12 PM – Pickett’s Mill Battlefield Historic Site – Dallas, GA – Mushrooms come in many shapes and colors, with summertime being great for viewing certain varieties. On this ranger-led hike, you will have the chance to learn all about them, including their historical uses and how to appreciate these beautiful parts of nature safely.
This hike will begin on the red trail, then connect onto the purple trail, and conclude with the red, white, and blue trail. Closed-toe shoes and water are recommended.
