dctv23, the Douglas County government access cable television channel, will unveil its “new look” on Monday, August 13th. The new look of the station will include a new way of presenting its bulletin board announcements of government and community meetings and events. There will also be current weather, stock information, and programming schedules.
The broadcast schedule of dctv23 programs will also change on Monday, August 13th. All dctv23 programs will air daily at the same time so that it will be easier for viewers to find and watch their favorite programs. All current dctv23 programs will continue to air, but just at different times than before. Programming will also be less time-restrictive; some programs previously restricted to a 30-minute time slot may now expand up to an hour, depending on content. This will allow the show hosts to more completely develop program ideas and information.
The meetings of the Douglas County Board of Commissioners will continue to be broadcast live, and rebroadcast without editing. Quarterly Planning and Zoning Commission meetings will also continue to be broadcast live.
New shows are currently under development with premiere dates in the Autumn to be announced later.
