The City of Douglasville Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is proud to introduce the new Visit Douglasville App for iPhone, iPad, and Android users. The app is free to download and allows you to explore Douglasville at your fingertips. Categories include dining, attractions, lodging, events and more.

“For an interactive hotel booking experience, the app offers a quick, easy and secure way to find and book hotels nearby,” said Randi Miles, Douglasville CVB Tourism Director. “To make the app even more inviting, we have plans to add a heritage tourism component in the near future.”

Whether visiting or living in Douglasville, you’ll discover how easy it is to find and enjoy the things you love with the Official Visit Douglasville App. Turn your smartphone or mobile device into a personal tour guide. Download the new Visit Douglasville App on your iPhone or iPad through the App Store, or on Google Play for Android devices. The app’s Connect feature provides up-to-date information on various events and happenings taking place in the area, and allows users to stay connected with the Douglasville CVB on Facebook, Twitter, and online at

Miles, the mastermind behind coordinating the tourism app for Douglasville said, “Mobile technology is fast becoming vital for tourism businesses and we wanted to take advantage of the value-added benefits of having a digital presence that could help to boost tourism in Douglasville. Our app improves the way you plan your visit to Douglasville and includes easy-to-search comprehensive listings for events, dining, attractions, lodging and more.”

The app was designed to enhance the visitor travel experience while increasing the visibility of Douglasville and Douglas County, and eventually generating revenue through hotel/motel tax and travel spending. “Now days, people are always on the go.
