Linda’s entry recommended Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with the following comment, so they also win $100. Linda’s entry said “The folks at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home are family oriented and loving at a most difficult time in anyone’s life who call on them for their services. I would recommend them to anyone who needs their service due to the death of a loved one as well as pre-planning needs so that your loved one won’t have to.”
This week we ended up with 21 entries distributed among the following entry points.
News & Views Website = 8
GreyStone Power Website = 4
GreyStone Power Facebook = 2
Chapel Hill News & Views Facebook= 3
Villa Rica News & Views Facebook = 4
Those who entered the contest in all five places had a 1:5 chance of winning
The winning entry came from the GreyStone Power Facebook page. To pick the winner we use the Random Number generating website, randomgenerator.com, and had it generate a number between 1 and 15, and the number was 10, which corresponded to Wendy’s entry.
HERE IS A COMPLETE LIST OF THE WEEK 39 ENTRIES for Together We Win.
By reading these entries you will learn about why certain businesses are popular among your neighbors, and maybe you will discover a new favorite spot for your family. Entries have been placed in alphabetical order by business to make it easier to find a business you might be looking for information about.
If you entered the contest and do not see your entry here, it is most likely because the business you recommended was not an advertiser in Chapel Hill or Villa Rica News & Views.
Cafe 4:13 in Villa Rica is a nice place to go. We have had small group meetings there and they are very accommodating. Such friendly people. – Nancy Coleman
Crist Roofing and their representatives went above and beyond to give our home a beautiful new roof! They answered all of our questions and treated us more like friends instead of just customers! Definitely will recommend them to others!!! – Karla Crenshaw
I highly recommend Dinner’s Ready Restaurant & Bakery and rate it “5 Stars”. If you’re looking for some true Southern hospitality and Great Soul Food, this is the place for you. After several recommendations, my family and I dropped for a try. The staff is cordial and the menu is abundant. This family of 4 had no trouble finding several options to try. I ordered a veggie plate and fell in love with the fried tomatoes. All portions were generous and the flavoring was perfect. Dessert was impressive. A wide variety of homemade cakes, pies, tarts, and cookies are featured in a deli case and a must when you visit. Restaurant decor is “country casual” and would make a perfect drop-in for ladies luncheon, family-friendly dinning, and the perfect location for Sunday afternoons. Highly recommended, casual, and friendly. A must see for Douglasville! – Elaine Jetmore
I hear that Goodyear Tree Removal does a great job! – Eileen Druzak
You should really visit Healing Hands in Douglasville. Very professional and serene environment! – Holly Willits
We enjoy eating at the Iron Horse Station in Villa Rica. Everything we have eaten there was very good and the service was also good. The prices are very reasonable. – Karen Donahoo
The folks at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home & Crematory are family oriented and always show their love and concern for the families who need their services at a difficult time in their lives. I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of a caring facility during the death of a loved one for pre-planning so your loved ones won’t have to. – Linda Sewell
Monterrey’s on Fairburn Road is amazing! They always know our family when we come in and asks how a family member is doing if he/she is not present. Not only that, but their service is amazing. They are always fast, and we never have to worry about our toddlers being loud, because there is always a good time being had by all! – Amanda Moyer
Sam and Rosco’s Restaurant is the best place ever. – Debra Lewis
I would like to recommend West Georgia Swim Club as the winner for this week’s Together We Win contest! Our family first heard about the WGSC through the Chapel Hills News and Views last summer. Our daughter started swimming with them that summer and loved it so much that she did year round! The WGSC is not like any team we have ever joined! They not only care about each child and want to help them as a swimmer, but they also care about the child and their family outside of swimming! This team is more like a family, celebrating the good times and the hard times! Thee coaches are outstanding and we love the swimmer to coach ratio! I recommend anyone looking for a swim team for their child to join the WGSC! – Katie Wolff
