The Douglas County TEA Party is organizing an event aimed at providing voters information, education, and a little excitement before everyone heads to the polls. The event will take place Saturday, October 27th, at Clinton Nature Preserve, and will offer knowledgeable and dynamic speakers, educational vendors and a last chance to meet and speak with candidates.
As with previous Douglas County TEA Party events, this one will be entertaining as well as family friendly. The event will run from 4 – 6 PM, but plan to be there by 3 PM to take advantage of the opportunity to meet candidates, grab a bite to eat and browse through vendor offerings. Don’t forget to bring chairs or blankets as the amphitheater offers only lawn seating.
Visit the Douglas County TEA Party’s web site for more information and to see photos and videos of past events and sign up for e-mail updates. The site also offers easy access to their Facebook group and Twitter page.
