Fifth Suspect Arrested in Mobley Jewelry Robbery

The fifth suspect in the armed robbery of the Mobley Jewelry Company and the murder of its owner, Mitch Mobley, has been arrested. The U.S. Marshals, Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force, arrested Bernard Hunt, 23 years old, from Atlanta, on 07-17-13 at approximately 7:30 PM.  Hunt was turned over to Villa Rica Police officers and is currently being held at the Carroll Co Jail on the charge of Murder and Armed Robbery.

Hunt is the fifth suspect to be arrested in connection to these crimes. Eric Billings, Raphael Rucker, Gregory Clifton, and Cranford Phelps were arrested previously and charged with Murder and Armed Robbery.

The Villa Rica Police Department would like to thank the Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force for their assistance in capturing four of the suspects.
