Stargazing Glow Hike on the Granite Outcrop

Friday, Apr 24, 2026 8 PM to 9:30 PM – Chattahoochee Bend State Park – Newnan, GA – Join us for a special night hike along the Flat Rock granite outcrop, and be sure to wear glow sticks and LED accessories to light up the trail with vibrant colors. This illuminated path will create the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable stargazing experience beneath the vast, star-filled sky.

We are honored to have Astronomer Klaus Hodapp on site, equipped with his telescope to offer expert insights into the stars above.
